IMPORTANT INFORMATION: Open Enrollment Periods for all Dependents and Students: If you have eligible Dependents in the fall or, are a student in the fall semester and eligible to purchase coverage and you choose not to enroll for coverage before the Fall Enrollment Deadline of *September 25, 2013, your Dependents or you, will not be eligible to enroll again until the start of next fall unless you experience a “Life Status†change during the year. A life status change includes marriage, divorce, birth of a child or loss of coverage through no fault of your own (i.e. aging of your parents coverage).If your Dependents or you, experience a “Life Status†change, you must submit proof of the event and enroll within 30 Days of the event, otherwise you will no longer be eligible to enroll for the remainder of the policy year.
*For new Dependents or new Part-Time students in the spring semester, your open enrollment deadline is *January 31, 2014.
Undergraduate Full-Time Students
If you are a…
Full-time undergraduate students taking 12 or more credit hours regardless of credit hours you are automatically enrolled unless proof of comparable coverage is furnished to Widener University through the online Campus Cruiser WebAdvisor waiver process.
Full-Time (Undergraduate) Students
- Annual Enrollment Deadline: 9/25/13
- Spring/Summer Enrollment Deadline: 1/31/14
If you complete the online waiver process by the August 5th deadline, you will be  credited the insurance premium which is annually applied to your student statement of account. If you do not complete the online waiver process by the deadline, you will be automatically enrolled in the university student health insurance plan and a  non-refundable $30 late fee applied to your student account.
Graduate Full-Time Students
If you are a…
Compulsory graduate students (MSW, PT, MSN, PsyD & Psy.D/JD) regardless of credit hours you are automatically enrolled unless proof of comparable coverage is furnished.
Full-Time (Graduate) Students
- Annual Enrollment Deadline: 9/25/13
- Spring/Summer Enrollment Deadline: 1/31/14

Dependents
Eligible students who do enroll may also insure their Dependents. Eligible Dependents are the student’s spouse and dependent children under 26 years of age. Please see the Enrollment Instructions below.

Enrollment Instructions for Voluntary Students and Dependents
Voluntary Students Only! Have your credit card ready!  You can enroll yourself and your eligible dependents. If you are already enrolled and only need to enroll your dependents, you will not be able to use this method. You must enroll your dependents with an enrollment form or through My Account.  Instructions are listed below.
Hard Waiver and Voluntary Students: If you are already enrolled and only need to enroll your dependents, you will need to create a “My Accountâ€.  Once you are logged in, you may enroll your dependents by clicking on the “Dependent Enrollment†button on the MyAccount page. This will allow you to enroll your dependents without being charged a second time for the student premium.

Voluntary Students and Dependents: Download an enrollment form and submit by mail using a check or money order. The mailing address is listed on the Enrollment Form.
